Wells-next-the-Sea
Wells-next-the-Sea on the north Norfolk coast is a great place to visit with lots of history attached. This popular holiday town is a traditional seaside fishing village and still very much a working port, with a harbour full of colourful boats.
The picturesque Quayside at Wells is home to a string of gift shops and amusement arcades, with some of the more quirky and interesting retailers being situated along narrow sidestreets. There are plenty of places to eat and drink - although enjoying delicious fish and chips while sitting on the quay wall is always hard to beat!
Wells has something for everybody. Bring the kids along to Playland, then take a walk round the quayside and sample the delights of a town full of character - a great stepping stone to the picturesque north Norfolk coast with its numerous tourist attractions such as Sandringham, Holkham and Blakeney Point (with its ever popular seal trips by boat).
